Hullo! I'm feeling just a tad down in the dumps (math test. don't worry, it'll fade ), so I've decided to make today another upload day! YAY!!
Anyhow, this first one is an entry into a contest by , who wanted us to design a canid. It seems funny that every contest I enter involving such seems to involves an element, too XD. So, I made a fire coyote (who's a bit thick-bodied xp), since you don't see as many of them as you do wolves (that's rather ass-backwards in real life, but that's another discussion)
Of course, the info about the character is subject to change by the contest-holder, but she wanted us to give some background info anyhow. The following is the beta information I wrote about her (though I may have overdid it a little XD)
Spentfire, as her name might imply, is a fire-elemental coyote.
Possessing not only great agility and a mouthful of formidable teeth, she has pores in her skin near the hackles, feet, and tail that actually emit fire. When angered, this fire can raise to a hellish inferno along her back, neck, feet, and tail. Her fur, as well as the rest of her, is flame resistant. She can also exhale fire with the use of several flammable gasses her body can somehow produce. However, she dislikes using her firepower because it leaves her feeling unwell afterward. She can still feel the pain of the heat to some degree despite being resistant to it, and breathing fire makes her sinuses, mouth, and throat dry out very uncomfortably.
She is usually calm, but cant seem to find much control of her actions when upset. She likes water, strangely, and left her home in the hot, dry deserts and steppes in search of it. She feels comforted by having water around because it literally cools down her abnormally high body temperature. However, Spentfire can be at a disadvantage when damp, because she cannot ignite her body fire until her fur is dry.

The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
Hello there! This news article is the result of a thumb share thread I posted few days ago on the dA forum along with pictures from my favorites. I hope you enjoy them.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. 90 people get the swine flu and everyone wants to wear a mask. A million people have AIDS and no one wants to wear a condom.
